Court records show the assistant director indicated the gun was safe.
The assistant director who handed Alec Baldwin the gun that killed a crew member on his film set says he hopes her death will lead to change in the industry.
Court records show David Halls announced "cold gun" to indicate the weapon was safe before handing the firearm to Baldwin last month.
Speaking to the New York Post he said Halyna Hutchins' death should lead to a re-evaluation of practices.
Ms. Hutchins spent time filming at Birr Castle and Gardens last year.
