Midlands participants and volunteer instructors are celebrated for their training achievements.
Laois County Council and Water Safety Ireland noted the invaluable expertise and dedication of trainers, examiners and recent graduates of IWS courses for making Laois a safer place for water activities.
The event which was held in Áras an Chontae, Portlaoise also recognised Padraig Dolan and Sgt. Paul O’Shea, both of whom were involved in rescue scenarios.
The ceremony also served as a reminder of the critical importance of water safety in education settings.
