It's believed to be about 28 million light years away from Earth!
NASA believes it may have discovered the first signs of a planet existing outside of the Milky Way.
The Chandra X Ray Observatory spotted the possible exo-planet in the spiral Whirlpool Galaxy, also called Messier 51.
All other exo-planets, which are planets outside of this solar system, have been observed inside the galaxy and within 3,000 light years of Earth.
However this new candidate is around 28 million light years away, and is the result of searching with X Ray wavelengths from a ground-based observatory.
