Celebrations are also taking place in Daingean tonight after Mixed Bag Media picked up the award for Best Short Film for "Nothing To Declare".
It follows the journey of two Irish kids who reached New York via London with no money or their parents back in 1985.

An Cailín Ciúin won the Best Film gong at tonight's IFTA Awards.
Hollywood star Chris Pine presented the award to those behind the Irish language film, written and directed by Colm Bairéad.
He also took home the award for Best Director Film which was presented by Irish acting Legend Gabriel Byrne.
