It's an 8% increase on last year's funding.
Just under €35 million in funding is being allocated to improve roads in the Midlands.
It's part of a package worth more than half a billion euro from the Department of Transport.
Laois are the biggest beneficiaries, projects across the county have been given €12.3 million.
The Portlaoise southern relief road is the main development, that allocation is around €1 million.
Westmeath will recieve €11.3 million - almost half of that will go towards the restoration and improvement of national roads.
Following a Department of Transport report, which found Offaly to have the worst conditioned regional road surfaces in Ireland, the Faithful County is getting just over €11 million to change that finding.
That includes a €300,000 allocation towards the relief road for Edenderry.
Overall, the package represents an 8% increase on last year's funding.
