New figures from the Residential Tenancies Board shows the average cost of rent in the region at the end of last year was €1,036, a 5.4% increase compared to 2021.
Offaly offers the best value for renters in the region, at €972.
That's followed by €1,048 in Westmeath, and €1,087 in Laois.
