All three counties recorded an increase on this time last year.
The average rent across the midlands has risen to €837 per month.
The latest data from the Residential Tenancies Board show Laois is most expensive, with an average monthly rent of €898.
That's up from €872 this time last year.
A similar trend was recorded in Westmeath - rising from €814 euro to €832.
While in Offaly, the average standardised rent is €780 euro, compared to €759 last year.
Each of the three county towns - Portlaoise, Tullamore and Mullingar - are the most pricey.
Nationally, cost of rent had its lowest growth rate since 2012 - now at a monthly average of over €1,250.
