Bus Éireann is advising people using their Expressway services this Bank Holiday weekend to avoid peak times.
The company says there are capacity pressures on some routes - particularly the X12 service from Dublin and Limerick, via Portlaoise, and the X20 from Dublin to Galway, via Athlone.
It's urging the public to avoid travelling between 12 noon and 7pm on weekends.
