Over 350 refugees are currently staying in tents on the grounds of Electric Picnic.
Ireland needs to stop taking in refugees until we can accommodate them better.
That's the view of Laois County Council Cathaoirleach, Paschal McEvoy, following controversy surrounding the conditions of tents Ukrainian refugees are staying in in Stradbally.
Those staying in the glamping facilities have reported waterlogged grass around the tents, and children crying as a result of the cold.
The Department of Integration says it's putting measures in place to ensure the safety and comfort of the residents.
And Councillor McEvoy says we need to start thinking abut the welfare of the refugees:
