IPAS centres were included among the 150 premises that have received fire safety notices since 2020.
Migrant rights groups say it's unacceptable for asylum seekers to be living in centres deemed a fire risk by officials.
The Journal Investigates has released a new report which found IPAS centres were among the 150 premises to be hit with fire safety notices since 2020.
Records show Laois recorded a single fire safety notice in 2022, while Offaly was issued one in 2023 and Westmeath also reported one case in 2022.
The Department of Justice says it takes the welfare and safety of residents seriously and fire regulations are of "paramount importance".
