Four people are being treated for covid in midlands hospitals - two in Mullingar Regional Hospital and one each in Tullamore and Portlaoise.
Three of those patients are in intensive care.
Mullingar Hospital is currently operating with no available general beds, and 14 people waiting on trolleys - while Tullamore has now available ICU beds.
