Service-users have had to do without since the arrival of Covid-19 to Ireland.
Dates for the reopening of two day care centres in Laois have been confirmed.
The facilities for older people and those with disabilities were closed due to Covid restrictions, and refurbishment works have kept the doors shut since.
Portlaoise Day Care Centre is set to open its doors on 27th June and the facility in Mountmellick will reopen on 11th July.
Works are ongoing at Abbeyleix Day Centre and the existing building will reopen in the coming months until an alternative site is developed - however, no exact date has been set.
