Over €18,000 in funding has been announced to aid older people in getting involved with physical activity in the midlands.
Age And Opportunity will provide €7,350 in grants to Westmeath, followed by over €5,500 for both Offaly and Laois.
71 clubs and organisations in the region will benefit from the additional funds.
Nationally, the Active National Grant is worth over €7.4m for more than 1,000 groups.
