It was due to take place between the 4th and 6th of September.
Electric Picnic will not take place in 2020.
The annual music festival was due to take place in Stradbally on the first weekend in September.
Organisers say the cancellation was disappointing but unavoidable and they're already looking forward to the 2021 event.
They're advising that refunds will be available from Ticketmaster or your original point of purchase, with a further option of letting your ticket carry over to the next festival.
We’re sorry to announce that Electric Picnic 2020 will no longer be going ahead. Read the full statement below. https://t.co/rlVdOxmNek pic.twitter.com/J4iQFWlsKC
