The collections will take place in Clara and Banagher.
People in Offaly are being offered the chance to dispose of their electronic waste for free over two days in the coming weeks.
The free collection day will be held in Clara GAA Club on Saturday January 31st from 10:00am - 4:00pm and the following week on February 7th in Banagher West End Car Park, from 10:00am - 4:00pm.
Items such as electronic tools, TVs, kettles, washing machines, toys, cables, toasters, IT equipment and mobile phones or anything with a plug can be discarded.
The average home has 193 electrical appliances and 110 batteries.
