A new free construction course has been launched in Offaly.
The level 3 initiative has no entry requirements and will take place at the National Construction Training Campus in Mount Lucas.
Participants can learn the basics of mixing concrete, block laying and the use of small tools and equipment.
The course runs for three weeks, and will grant participants key qualifications for for the construction industry, such as health and safety training, manual handling training and a Safe Pass.
