Gardaí Security Service Plans Warns Foreign Spies A Threat To State

Former Army Ranger,Portarlington's Cathal Berry says hostile foreign groups are often interested in sensitive data stored in Ireland.

Foreign spies and extremism are two of the biggest threats against the state.


The Garda security services plan says terrorism is a "continuing threat" also.


Gardaí are continuing to work with the National Cyber Security Service to protect Ireland's internet infrastructure.
