One project is an integrated constructed wetlands at Clonaslee which replaces a 1940s wastewater treatment plant.
The wetlands support some rare species of moth and sawfly, a variety of butterflies and damselfies as well as birds of conservation concern such as reed warbler and swallow.
Otter and stoat are also known to frequent the site.
