Laois Roads Policing Unit stopped a Skoda car in Ballacolla yesterday morning, after its number plate was flagged on their system.
They discovered the motorist was driving unaccompanied on a learner's permit, had no motor tax, and had failed to surrender their licence.
The person has been arrested and charged, with the car seized by Laois Gardaí.
