Sean Fleming feels his party's presidential campaign wasn't good.
A Laois TD says he couldn't stomach hearing his party leader saying he was going to vote for Fine Gael's candidate in the presidential election.
Fianna Fail's Sean Fleming believes the party had a disastrous campaign after Jim Gavin bowed out amid scandal and rampant criticism.
Micheal Martin has since apologised for how the election transpired.
However Deputy Fleming says he and colleagues are very disappointed:
'Criticism is rightly deserved, there were a lot of mistakes that I wouldn't agree with myself, the principal criticism that I have is when the leader of Fianna Fáil says he is voting number one for Fine Gael, I cant stomach that nor can a lot of party members'.
