It's believed the blaze started at around 6 o'clock yesterday evening.
A serious bog fire in Offaly has been brought under control.
It comes after 27 firefighters, and three fire engines from Tullamore, Portarlington, and Edenderry battled the blaze near Walsh Island and Mount Lucas yesterday evening.
It's believed the fire started around 6pm.
Offaly Fire and Rescue is confirming the situation is now under control, and are working with Bord Na Mona to monitor the land area with drone footage.
