A man has been arrested and two weapons have been seized in Westmeath.
It's after Gardaí attended a scene in Grange Lawns, Mullingar at around 3.15pm on Saturday afternoon.
They arrested a man in his 20s at the scene, and he's since appeared before a sitting of Mullingar District Court.
Another man, also in his 20s, was taken to Regional Hospital Mullingar for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries which he sustained during the incident.
