The schoolteacher was killed on January 12th, 2022.
An anniversary mass to mark the second anniversary of the death of Ashling Murphy is taking place today.
The Offaly schoolteacher was killed while out for a run on the banks of the Grand Canal near Tullamore on January 12th, 2022.
Jozef Puska was sentenced to life in prison last year after being found guilty with the murder of the 23-year-old.
Last year, the Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund was set up to support the development of traditional Irish music.
In a post on Facebook, the charity has invited the public to St. Brigid's Church in Mountbolus at 7pm to remember and celebrate Ashling’s life.
