A Midlands action group is hosting a community table quiz to raise funds for their campaign against a solar farm.
Residents on the Laois/Kildare border are raising concerns about the lack of meaningful consultation over a proposed 52-hectare industrial-scale solar farm.
BNRG Bracklone is planning the development in the townlands of Kilmullen and Coolnafearagh.
The committee has been meeting regularly to continue raising awareness about the proposed solar farms and their potential impact on the local community.
There will be a Community Table Quiz this evening at 8pm in The Thatch Bar, Killenard, as a fundraiser and an awareness event.
