Emergency services are at the scene of a multi car collision in the midlands.
Up to five cars are believed to be involved in the crash on the Mountmellick Road in Portlaoise.
The road is closed between Ballyfin Rd junction & Fairgreen.
No one was seriously injured in the incident.
Gardaí are asking motorists to avoid the area.
Diversions are in place.
