It started at 7 o'clock this morning and will run for 12 hours, similar to demonstrations at Tesco in Donabate, Co. Dublin yesterday; Lidl in Charleville, Co. Cork on Friday; and at the Aldi Distribution Centre in Naas, Co. Kildare on Thursday.
The Irish Farmers' Association says beef farmers should not accept the current beef price on offer from the factories.
Westmeath chair of the IFA, Bernie McCarthy, is one of a contingent of farmers from the midlands protesting today.
She says they aren't going away until the beef price increases:
Farmers cannot continue without a fair price for beef, with the markets rising around the world, according to Ms. McCarthy.
A number of members from Laois, Offaly and Westmeath are among the roughly 50 farmers blockading the Musgraves in Kilcock today.
