The latest myhome.ie property price report shows that the cost of a home in Westmeath took the biggest jump of midlands counties in the second quarter of this year.
The Lake county saw an increase of 12.5% to a median of €225,000.
Prices in Laois jumped 5.3% to €200,000, while in Offaly the median cost is €212,500 represented a 1.2% increase.
House prices in every county in Leinster rose in Q2 of this year, with the exception of Dublin.
