Graffiti left on a midlands monument has been labelled as 'disappointing' by a local councillor.
Sinn Féin's Aidan Mullins is making the comments, referring to the vandalism on the Corrig Woods 'Spire' in Portarlington
The Tower is spray-painted with a large, black and red, yin and yang symbol on the exterior wall.
There is also red script painted on top of the arch of one of the door ways of the tower.
