'Old's Cool' sank during a voyage to Athlone on June 1st, 2015.
A missing boat in the midlands has been found, after eight years.
Skipper Fergal Butler has spent years searching for his sunken 'Old's Cool,' which went down on Lough Ree during a voyage from Lanesborough to Athlone on June 1st, 2015.
The 350 horsepower vessel, with a V8 inboard petrol engine, has been described as a vehicle which 'wouldn't look out of place in a James Bond movie.'
Athlone Sub Aqua Club confirmed the boat's location during a dive, southwest of Nun's Island, lying upside down in about 30 feet of water.
Mr. Butler will now embark on a mission to rescue and restore 'Old's Cool.'
The vehicle's pilot is hoping to get it back on the water again soon.
Mr Butler, who is a carer for his wife and son, says he's expecting to get it home soon:
