Three teenagers have been arrested in relation to an assault on a teenage boy in Navan in Meath on Monday.

Gardaí, who say they're treating it as a hate crime, arrested three teenage boys in the Navan area this morning and they're being held at Garda Stations across the Meath region.

The three male juvenile teenagers who were arrested this morning have been released without charge and a file will be referred in the first instance for consideration for admission to the Juvenile Diversion Programme.
