Planning permission was granted at the end of last month.
Approval has been granted to change the entrance to a popular shopping centre in Laois.
Lindat Limited recieved planning permission at the end of October to create a new public entrance at the south east corner of Laois Shopping Centre in Portlaoise.
The development also involves converting a 236 square metre of retail space across three levels in Units 36, 136, and Anchor 03 into circulation space.
This includes creating a new common lobby with lift access to all levels and minor internal floor level adjustments at the lower ground.
Proposed changes to the building facade include closing off an existing door, creating a new entrance door for the lobby, and modifying the height of the existing fire escape door to suit the new emergency exit doors.
