It has advanced laboratories and added desk space.

A new €10 Million state-of-the-art facility has been officially opened at TUS Athlone.

The Applied Polymer Technologies research facility features advanced processing laboratories, and 60 additional desk spaces for students and staff.

The project has been in the works for two years, and includes a comprehensive refurbishment and extension of the existing premises.

Enterprise Minsiter, Longford Westmeath TD, Peter Burke, today officially opened the research facility today.
