An Offaly all-female robotics team has won big at the VEX Robotics World Championships in the USA.
'The Steminists' from Sacred Heart Secondary School in Tullamore won the prestigious Judges Award in Dallas, Texas.
The team showcased innovation, teamwork, and engineering skills alongside teachers Ms Sindy Meleady and Ms Aisling Bourke, students Emily Thunder, Jasmine Matsushita, Rachel Ebenezer, Alice Duffy, and Olivia Hoey represented Ireland on the global stage.
President Michael D. Higgins sent a personal message of support, praising their creativity and commitment to STEM.
