An Offaly author is being recognised as an emerging talent after being shortlisted for a literary award.
Rahan's Mary Minnock and her book Love Lost is the only Irish entry among a shortlist of 6 for the innagural Libraro award.
The overall winner will be announced at a reception in London on May 13th where the winning author will get a publishing deal and 50 thousand pounds.
