Bog Trotters is kicking off in Clara alongside the first Bog Bothy festival.
A celebration of all things peatland is kicking off in an Offaly town this week.
Clara's Bog Trotters festival runs until this Sunday at the Clara House Estate, with blacksmithing demos, a summer solstice celebration and live music all planned for over the weekend.
It's running alongside the first edition of the Bog Bothy festival hosted by the Irish Architecture Foundation.
