Offaly Fianna Fail Councillor Adds To Scrutiny Of Taoiseach

Tullamore Councillor Frank Moran has called Taoiseach Micheal Martin a 'dictator' in the wake of the presidential election campaign.

A Fianna Fail councillor in Offaly is calling the leader of his party a 'dictator' in the wake of the presidential election.

Councillor Frank Moran says he's not happy with the way Taoiseach Micheal Martin handled the campaign, adding to recent scrutiny of his leadership.

It comes after the party's candidate Jim Gavin dropped out of the race after a rental payment scandal, and a number of poor performances in front of the media.

In a Facebook post, Mr Moran is also refuting accusations his representation is not good enough pointing to his successful re-election last year.

He wants other 'onlookers' and 'high stoolers' to take action and represent their people, and for people to be honest with him if they're not satisfied with his representation.
