Planning permission has been requested for over new 100 homes in the county.
A major housing development in Offaly has hit a bump in the road.
Daingean Road Residential Limited is seeking permission for 102 dwellings in Cappincur, Tullamore.
The development consists of 62 houses, ranging from two-to-four-bedroom units, and 40 apartments/duplexes.
Approval is also being sought for a creché, which would serve the sizeable development, and 173 car parking spaces.
A decision was due on the application last Wednesday, but Offaly County Council is requesting further information before it will grant or reject the submission.
