An Offaly man is objecting to a new Aldi store in Roscommon.
Brian O'Sullivan with an address in Kilcormac is appealing to An Coimisiun Pleanala over a decision to grant permission for new shop on Patrick Street in Boyle.
His objection asserts the development plan is in contravention with the town's local area plan, and that it would harm the architechtural character of Boyle.
The plans would see the creation of up to 30 jobs in the an 1800 square metre building.
The development would also lead to the refurbishment of five derelict homes in the area.
A decision is due on the 22nd of June.
