This is the third Offaly school to get approval.
An Offaly school has received approval to proceed to tender for a major extension project.
The Department of Education approved the move for St Colman’s National School in Mucklagh, for three new Special Education rooms under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme.
The approval marks the third Offaly school this week to reach the tender stage, alongside Gortnamona and Dunkerrin National Schools.
The investment aims to enhance educational supports and facilities for students in the local community.
Offaly Fine Gael TD John Clendennen says 'three separate schools in Offaly have received permission to proceed to tender within a matter of days, which is a massive step forward for our local school communities'.
