An Offaly school has been honoured for its teaching and innovation excellence.
Sacred Heart School, in Tullamore, has been presented with an eTwinning National Quality Label Award at The Gathering, a special event hosted by Léargas.
The school was responsible for ‘Celebrando Juntos - Celebrating Together’, a project which connected students in Ireland and Spain to explore the cultural differences and similarities in festival celebrations in each country.
Students learned from each other about culture, traditions, food, music and about themselves and presented to their Irish and Spanish classmates in the Spanish language.
