An Offaly student has been shortlisted for TY Short Story Competition.
Charlie Owens from Oaklands Community College Edenderry, author of "Whispers Of The Foyle", received a certificate for his short story, during the award ceremony at Buswells Hotel in Dublin.
The commencement is a judging panel of six academics who shortlisted five finalist members.
This contest is said to be an incredible opportunity to showcase literary talent for TY students.
