Only two driving test centres in the Midlands have a test wait time of at most 10 weeks, the Government's national target.
Learner drivers are being seen in Athlone and Birr in that time period, while the wait time in Tullamore is 12 weeks, in Mullingar it's 13 weeks, while people are waiting for 14 weeks in Portlaoise, according to figures released to the Irish Times.
There were 576 no-shows for tests in the Midlands last year.
