Westmeath housed 689 asylum seekers last month, the most in the midlands.
That figure is 504 in Laois, and 170 in Offaly, among the lowest in the country.
The capital is responsible for the largest number of IPAS occupancy in Ireland, with 7,657 - that accounts for 39% of the country's figures.
