Revenue officers have seized over €220,000 worth of drugs in the midlands.
A premises in Athlone was searched yesterday resulting in the discovery of over 10kg's of herbal cannabis and 114 grams of cocaine.
The drugs with an estimated value of €223,000 originally came from Italy, France, the Netherlands, and the UK and were destined for addresses in Dublin, Louth and Carlow.
