It'll include 46 student apartments, 67 houses and 62 apartments and a creche.
Plans are being lodged for a €100m strategic housing development in Westmeath.
Longford based developer Mark Cunningham is behind the application at Lissywoollen, near Athlone Institute of Technology.
The greenfield site is located on the northern side of the Old Rail Trail Greenway. The development will incorporate the greenway, to make it accessible for the neighbouring residents.
It'll consist of 46 student apartments, 67 houses and 62 apartments and a creche.
According to Mr. Cunningham, over 200 people will be directly employed in the construction process.
The official documents will be submitted early next year following meetings with Westmeath County Council and An Bord Pleanála next month.
