A decision on the development is due in December.
Plans have been submitted for a major new housing development in the midlands.
Marina Quarter Limited is seeking planning permission for 177 new homes on a seven hectare site in Cornamaddy, Athlone.
The development will consist of a mix of two, three or four-storey houses, as well as over 30 apartments and duplexes.
The project forms part of a larger phase of both permitted and proposed developments.
Westmeath County Council is due to make a decision by December 20th.
