Restrictions In Midland Regional Hospital Due To Rise In Covid-19

The virus is circulating in the wider community, prompting extra precautions. 

Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore is introducing visiting restrictions due to a rise in Covid-19 cases among patients.

The HSE says the virus is circulating in the wider community, and requires extra precautions.

Restrictions are in place in the OHIU, Ardan, and Pallas wards to help limit the spread.

Critical and compassionate visits can still be arranged through the relevant Nurse in Charge.

All other wards remain open to visitors while those attending the hospitalare also asked to wear face masks.
