Run or cycle for a chance to win Electric Picnic tickets this September, while also raising money for charity.
Tour De Picnic takes place on the 2nd of September, and is giving people the opportunity to win a weekend ticket to the Laois festival.
People will have the choice of running a 17km course or cycling an 80km trail on the day.
Those lacing up their running shoes start at Course Town B&B and Country House, a dairy farm in Athy, Co Kildare and will pass through farmland, Coillte forests and Oughvale Woods.
Anyone partaking in the cycle will depart from Tallaght Stadium, heading for the Blessington Greenway to meander through some of Ireland’s biggest dairy farms and the village of Brannockstown. They’ll then make their way along the Barrow Blueway before reaching Stradbally.
Refreshments will be provided along the course, and at the finish line.
Participants are require to raise €450 for the event, with funds going to LauraLynn Children’s Hospice, Ronald McDonald House and ISPCC Childline.
