Gardaí believe she’s in the company of an 18 year old man.
Gardaí say the family of a missing 14 year old Louth girl are very upset and concerned for her safety.
A Child Rescue Alert is in place for Svetlana Murphy who it’s believed is in the company of an 18 year old man.
The family of Svetlana Murphy haven’t seen or heard from her since Monday afternoon when she left her home on Coast Road in Blackrock in Co Louth.
Gardaí believe she’s in the company of 18 year old Nojus Maculevicius and they are travelling in a silver Hyundai Veloster car with the registration 132 D 13518.
Gardaí say were seen in Newry in Co Down on Monday at 7 while the car was spotted in Belfast yesterday evening.
Superintendent Liam Geraghty has this appeal:
Gardaí aren’t going into specific detail about why they are concerned for Svetlana – only to say they have serious concerns there’s an immediate and serious risk to her health or welfare.
Officers say they want to establish that both Svetlana and Nojus are safe and well but particularly Svetlana as she’s a child.
Anyone who sees them or the car are asked not to approach, but to ring the emergency services.
