We shouldn't get our hopes up for improved weather conditions - at least not yet.
That's according to Ireland Weather Channel's Cathal Nolan, who says the disappointing temperatures are likely to continue, but it's likely to stay dry.
He has also busted the myth that a poor May will lead to a sunny and warm Summer, labelling it as 'wishful thinking.'
But, the Rhode man says it's still early days, and there's plenty of time for improvement:
